TIM has partnered with GUIDE Model participants to offer paid respite care to families of qualified traditional Medicare Fee-for-Service (FFS) and cognitively impaired individuals. As a TIM community, you can offer these services to prospective families – subsidized respite care with minimal administrative work! It’s simple, once you reach 20 residents enrolled in the TIM program,  you become eligible for the Circle of Excellence paid respite care services.

RESPITE CARE TO MOVE-IN PROCESS

INQUIRY STAGE

Families call about respite care needs – Hundreds of families reach out to senior living communities, seeking short-term respite care for their loved ones.

Introduce the paid respite option to qualified candidates – Explain that their loved one may qualify for subsidized respite care, up to $2,500.

ASSESSMENT & SCHEDULING

Determine if the prospective resident qualifies – Traditional Medicare Fee-For-Service and cognitively impaired individuals qualify.

Communicate Subsidy Details – Inform the family that the respite care will be subsidized up to $2,500. You determines the length of stay.

Contact TIM – The TIM team handles the logistics, from subsidy contracting to payment to the community (within 2-4 weeks).
